Waterborne is the capstone piece to the Southern Studies Fellowship in Arts and Letters. Co-written with author Morgan Thomas, the piece acts as a call and response that distills and presents their year-long research into Southern culture, ecological toxicity, evangelical Christianity, and masculinity with the assertion that we, as human beings on this earth, are both toxic and miraculous. Posted here is the trailer and the audio of the poem in addition to still shots from various installations, however respecting all the artists involved, I will not post the video in full.
